A photo mosaic is a compilation of many individual pictures that are used to create a single image. In recognition of the ten years that the Campaign has been making a difference in the nursing profession, we are working to collect ten thousand images and have extended the deadline for picture submission until April 30, 2012. The Campaign plans to publicly unveil the final mosaic in late 2012.

The Portrait Of ThanksWe encourage you to help us meet the 10,000 photo benchmark by submitting your head-shot photo for inclusion in The Art of Nursing: A Portrait of Thanks Mosaic Project. Not only will you be a part of nursing history, you’ll also help encourage and inspire the next generation of nurses. For every photo uploaded by the deadline, the Campaign will donate $1 to the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) to help fund nursing student scholarships.

Uploading criteria: You must be a nurse, or a student currently enrolled in nursing school, and at least 18 years old, to submit a photo for this photo mosaic. Upload your photo (featuring one-person only) and complete some brief background information to be part of this historical image of nursing.

The deadline to submit a photo to the Portrait of Thanks Mosaic Project has been extended to May 12, 2012.
